Bellows Stool - Walter Knoll recieves RED DOT DESIGN AWARD June 17th, 2011

With the design of the Bellows Collection from Toan Nguyen an unusual idea has been realised. The stool and the side table surprise the eye and play with the expectations of the viewer. The leather is gathered in soft, sturdy folds. And then it stretches.

Bellows quickly changes its height with just one turn of the hand. The ring-shaped trigger for adjusting the height is concealed in the seat. This collection particularly demonstrates its expressive character as a twosome, in a group or as a complement to a sofa.
